Cybersecurity experts and journalists talked about the impact of Edward Snowden’s National Security Agency (NSA) leaks on efforts to improve cybersecurity. Allan Friedman and Peter Singer, the co-authors of Cybersecurity and Cyberwar: What Everyone Needs to Know, said U.S. credibility had been damaged by leaks about NSA surveillance, making influencing ongoing debates about the future of the Internet more difficult.
