Co-chairs of the University of Virginia Miller Center’s bipartisan State Health Care Cost Containment Commission released a report, Cracking the Code on Health Care Costs. They briefed the press at the National Press Club on the findings and recommendations of their report on states and health care cost containment. Their consensus was that states have many opportunities to play a role in controlling health care costs and need to take a leadership role in cost containment. close
