Governor Chris Christie gave the annual state of the state speech in the Assembly Chamber of the New Jersey State House. Among the topics he addressed were the continued efforts to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, property tax relief, building safe communities, education reform, and building on bipartisan policies. He began his remarks referencing allegations that his administration had closed lanes on the George Washington Bridge in a political payback scandal saying “mistakes were clearly made,” but pledged to push forward with his agenda.
