National Governors Association Chair Mary Fallin (R-OK) and Vice Chair John Hickenlooper (D-CO) gave an update on some of the challenges states were facing, particularly the need for states to fill the voids left by federal inaction, gridlock, and budget cuts and the resulting uncertainty. Topics included education, workforce development, water supply, infrastructure, and health care. The governors responded to questions from members of the audience.
