Sydney Seiler, President Obama’s senior adviser on Korea, discussed the lack of progress in the U.S. relationship with North Korea. He talked about North Korea’s latest round of provocations, saying that the regime of Kim Jong Un had not gained anything from them, breaking the cycle where the North obtains concessions for its behavior. Mr Seiler praised the strength of the U.S.-South Korea alliance.

This was the luncheon event for the “U.S.-Korea Security Agenda in Asia in 2014” commemorative event held by the Center for Strategic and International Studies. close
