John Koskinen testified on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) operations and the 2014 tax return filing season. He said recent budget cuts would mean fewer audits and a lower level of customer service during the 2014 tax filing season. When pressed by Republican members of the committee for more documents related to the continuing investigation of alleged targeting of conservative groups by the IRS, he declined to comment. close
