“Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity: The Cybersecurity Framework and Beyond” was held at the Brookings Institution.
Patrick Gallagher of the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) outlined the Obama administration’s cybersecurity framework for infrastructure security. The framework, released by NIST, gives guidelines for companies to improve cybersecurity, and steps for responding to and recovering from a cyberattack. Following Mr. Gallagher’s speech, other leading cybersecurity experts joined the panel discussion.
