Peter Jasperse, Antonia Torfs-Leibman, and Madeleine Hutchins' The NSA: The Lengths of America’s Security was the middle school first prize-winner in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest. They were eighth graders at Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring, Maryland.
C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. In the 2014 contest, participants were asked, “What’s the most important issue Congress should consider in 2014?”
