Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave the closing speech at the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference. She talked about a variety of issues, criticizing both the domestic and foreign policies of the Obama administration and encouraging conservatives to send more people to Congress like Senators Ted Cruz and Tim Scott. She read a conservative version of Green Eggs and Ham, the book that Senator Cruz read to his children during his “filibuster” on the Senate floor. Former Governor Palin was introduced by a video montage.
