A panel discussed a range of global issues including peace, women’s rights, austerity, and technology. the panelists were Pakistani women’s rights activist Saba Ismail; documentary filmmaker Steve Elkins, who used new technology to discover archaeological ruins; and Michael Ash, an economics professor who helped debunk a leading economic report on austerity. Gregg Kvistad moderated.
