Nate Pedersen talked about Socialist Labor Party candidate Frank T. Johns, and visited the site in Bend, Oregon where he died in 1928. Johns was giving a stump speech in Bend when a boy fell into the Deschutes River and was taken downstream. Johns stopped his speech, and jumped into the water to save him and they were both swept away by the current.
