Telephone lines, including a line for New Jersey residents, were open for viewer commentary on the question “Can Gov. Christie Move Past 'Bridgegate'?” The question was inspired by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s (R) press conference the previous day about his investigation into the controversial lane closure of the George Washington Bridge. Video clips were shown of the news conference and New Jersey Statehouse correspondent Susan Livio spoke by telephone about the news conference.

A video clip was shown of Vice President Joe Biden delivering the weekly Democratic Party address about raising the minimum wage and of House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) speaking on the House floor on March 26, 2014, about the backlog of claims at the Veterans Administration.

The program concluded with a video clip of Republican Study Committee Chair Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA) being interviewed March 27, 2014, for “Newsmakers.” close
