Among those bills was S. 2183, which authorizes up to $10 million for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Voice of America to increase broadcasts into eastern Ukraine, Moldova and other nearby ethnic Russian communities. The House also considered HR 4152. This bill authorizes $150 million in aid for Ukraine as well as codifies and expands sanctions imposed by the Obama administration against certain Russian and Ukrainian officials. close
