Panelists talked about the effects of updated banking regulations on small banks and their customers. Camden Fine said regulations were usually a response to misconduct by the big banks and were hurting smaller banks. Panelists also argued that financial institutions need to be regulated according to their business transactions, not their official charters. Professor Hurley made concluding remarks for the conference.
