Jim Yong Kim talked about World Bank’s efforts to address global economic inequality, announcing plans to end extreme poverty by 2030. He also talked about building a hydro-electric plant in Africa and linking climate change to energy. He spoke a good deal about climate change and how the World Bank, through targeting investments in developing countries, could bring a sustained power source while reducing “greenhouse gas” emissions in the developing world. CNBC’s Chief International Correspondent Michelle Caruso-Cabrera was the moderator. close
