President Obama, Vice President Biden, and Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki celebrated the Wounded Warrior Project’s seventh annual Soldier Ride at the White House. A cycling event to help Wounded Warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being, the Soldier Ride also raises awareness of the nation’s Wounded Warriors who battle the physical and psychological damages of war. President Obama told stories about the participants and called all of them inspirations to the nation before he kicked off the day’s leg of the ride. close
