White House Healthy Food Initiatives
This was the opening session of the Consumer Federation of America’s two-day National Food Policy Conference at the Omni Sheraton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Sam Kass, White House senior nutrition policy adviser, talked about first lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative which he was directing. He said the initiative to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy eating was making great progress. He was interviewed by Ms. Jalonick.
