Alcohol Advertising The Center for Science in the Public Interest announced a petition by a number of groups urging the Federal Trade Commission to outlaw youth oriented alcohol advertising. The petitioners also want the FTC to prohibit ads linking alcohol use and dangerous activities, as well as the placement of alcoholic beverages in movies and television programs. close
