NASA Engineer Adam Steltzner spoke about exploring Mars and other space exploration. He was followed by Anand Giridharadas, who talked about his book, The True American, about a hate crime committed in Dallas after the September 11, 2001, attacks. Adam Steltzner was the lead engineer of the Curiosity rover landing on Mars.

“And You Think Parallel Parking is Hard?,” and “Being American in a Post-9/11 World” were presentations of the third Annual New York Ideas forum, held at the New-York Historical Society, co-sponsored by Atlantic magazine and the Aspen Institute. close
