Lynn Stanton talked about a 3-2 vote on Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Tom Wheeler’s net neutrality proposal and what the proposal could mean for Internet users and providers. She said that the idea that the proposal would create a “fast lane” on the internet was a mischaracterization. Instead, she argued that the proposal would not allow an Internet service provider to degrade the downstream service to the end-user. close
