Witnesses testified at a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on prosecution for economic espionage under the U.S. legal framework. Representatives from Boeing, Marlin Steel Wire Products, and Elly Lilly Pharmaceuticals called on Congress to address Intellectual Property (IP) and trade-secret theft. Drew Greenblatt, president of Marlin Steel Wire, said the problem was out of control and companies like his were being attacked every day. FBI Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Randall Coleman said IP and trade-secret theft investigations were a top priority for the agency. close
