John Ross talked about his book, Enduring Courage: Ace Pilot Eddie Rickenbacker and the Dawn of the Age of Speed. Born in 1890, Eddie Rickenbacker was a well known racecar driver before he earned a Medal of Honor as an ace in World War I. After the war he was Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Air Lines, owned Indianapolis Motor Speedway for nearly 15 years, and was a motor car manufacturer. close
