Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Martin Dempsey and chief of the Chinese Army General Fang Fenghui held a joint press briefing at the Pentagon. Fang Fenghui urged the US to be “objective” about issues between China and Vietnam over a drilling rig in the South China Sea. Additionally, Dempsey was asked about Eric Shinseki’s leadership of Verterans Affairs. He replied that he is “confident” in Shinseki. close
