Panelists talked about federal land policy in the western U.S. Panelists included Representative Rob Bishop (R-UT), who chairs the House Public Lands and Environmental Regulation Subcommittee, and Carl Graham, director of the Center for Self-Government in the West at the Sutherland Institute. Representative Bishop said public lands were much more than “national parks” and argued that states could manage public lands better than the federal government. close
