House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Rogers (R-MI) talked with reporters at a “Monitor Breakfast” held by the Christian Science Monitor. He talked about the early warnings he received about the threat of the militant group ISIS* and how the U.S. should respond to the growing threat. He argued that air strikes were just a tactic, and that strategic policy was the way forward. Representative Rogers also discussed his committee’s relationship with the White House and the future of the Republican Party.
