The House Veterans' Affairs Committee held a hearing on the increasing number of whistle-blower complaints within the Veterans Health Administration. Officials spoke about allegations of retaliation against those who speak out. Special Counsel Carolyn Lerner said that her agency was currently investigating 67 retaliation complaints from employees who reported health and safety concerns and that the numbers were constantly increasing. close
