Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) spoke briefly to reporters at the Senate subway stop following a closed-door Armed Services Committee hearing with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Martin Dempsey on the security situation in Afghanistan and Iraq. She said Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was complicating the security situation in Iraq but that the situation was complicated with no “one-size fits all” solution. close
