Security Council held an emergency meeting on the Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down in Ukraine. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. The United Nations (U.N.) Security Council held an emergency meeting on the Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down in Ukraine. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.
