Rear Admiral John Kirby briefed reporters and responded to questions on a variety of military-related issues. Topics included the discovery of the body of an apparent stowaway above the rear landing gear of a U.S. Air Force cargo plane after it landed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. The cause of death had not yet been determined. Admiral Kirby said the body did not impact the function and flight of the aircraft but the military was looking at the security implications of the incident. close
