News executives from the New York Times, the Associated Press, and Reuters talked about government restrictions on the press, the future of whistleblowers, and accusations of media bias in covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Stephen Adler in his remarks said that the Obama administration was supposed to be the “transparent administration” yet restricts the press more than past presidencies. ABC News correspondent Pierre Thomas moderated the event.
