Coaches, journalists, and former major leaguers talked about the history of the relationship between African Americans and baseball, and actions baseball leagues can take to encourage players from the African-American community. The program included questions from audience members. During the event, former Major League Baseball team manager Jerry Manuel briefly spoke by phone.
