The event “Veterans and Their Smartphones: Creating a 21st-Century Veterans Service System” was held at the American Enterprise Institute.
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA) talked about his plan to improve veterans' health care through the use of smartphones. He criticized government bureaucracy and said that technology needed to be better harnessed in veterans' health care, contracting, and at the Pentagon.
