Officials began a summit on bullying prevention. Assistant Education Secretary Delisle said that students were heading back to school for the year but there were many kids scared to step into school. She said that the problem of bullying had not diminished much less been eradicated and that the school climate was important for keeping students safe and helping to improve academic achievement.
