Phone lines were open for viewer comments on the state of race relations in 2014.

Reverend Jesse Jackson spoke by phone about race relations in light of the police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. He described conditions in the city following the curfew put in place Governor Jay Nixon, and discussed his thoughts on what happened in the shooting, and similarities between what happened in Ferguson and similar situations of the past. He also talked about the state of racial relations in the United States.

At the beginning of the program, C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo previewed the Sunday morning talk shows. close
