The Bully Pulpit Doris Kearns Goodwin spoke about her book, The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the Golden Age of Journalism, in which she explores the technological and economic changes brought on by the industrial revolution in the United States. She suggested that these changes widened the gulf between rich and poor throughout the country.
