Sally Satel talked about her book, Brainwashed: The Seductive Appeal of Mindless Neuroscience, in which she and co-author Scott Lilienfeld present an analysis of what she calls the culture’s obsession with neuroscience.

She spoke in the Science Pavilion of the 2014 National Book Festival, which was held August 30 by the Library of Congress at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. close
