Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) talked about the role of Congress in battling ISIL* militants. He urged members of Congress to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities and introduce legislation that would authorize the mission the president outlined while imposing some limits on the military campaign against ISIL, including a sunset provision of one year. After his remarks he responded to questions from Mr. Gude and members of the audience.
