Peter Kornbluh talked about President Kennedy’s attempts to open up private channels of communication with Cuba after the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He described the people tasked with the operation and the issues involved with establishing reliable dialogue and negotiations. Mr. Kornbluh is the co-author of Back Channel to Cuba, and spoke at a conference marking the 50th anniversary of the release of the Warren Report. The event was hosted by the Assassination Archives and Research Center. close
