Senator Rand Paul campaigned for Republican Senate and House candidates in North Carolina. In Raleigh, Senator Paul officially endorsed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Thom Tillis, who was running against incumbent Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC), and met with his supporters at a fundraiser at Big Ed’s City Market Restaurant. Senator Paul had endorsed North Carolina House of Representatives Speaker Tillis' primary opponent, Dr. Greg Brannon, before the state primary election. Later in the evening, Senator Paul endorsed Representative Walter Jones and met with his supporters at a “Celebration of Liberty” reception and barbecue dinner at the Greenville Hilton. close
