President Obama was among the dignitaries who spoke at a ceremony dedicating the first national memorial for disabled veterans. It honors service members of both past and present from all American conflicts and each branch of the military, recognizing both physical disabilities and other less noticeable impairments such as post-traumatic stress disorder.
