President George H.W. Bush made a campaign appearance in St. Louis, Missouri. He spoke to McDonnell Douglas defense workers at Lambert Field. In his speech, he announced the sale of seventy-two F-15 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. The event was held on the tarmac at Lambert Field. Following his announcement President Bush climbed a ladder and peered into the cockpit of a F-15 fighter. close
