In a series of interviews, race relations, food security, poverty, and other social issues were talked about. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie spoke about her novel Americanah, a Nigerian girl’s account of living in the U.S. Walter Robb talked about bringing Whole Foods stores to urban areas such as Detroit and New Orleans. Author Alex Kotlowitz discussed his current projects and showed a clip from his film The Interrupters, which shows the narratives of inner-city African Americans.
