Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) talked about his visit to Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, Albania, and Montenegro, where he met with both government officials and the public to discuss U.S. policies and engagement in the region. He talked about the importance of U.S. engagement in the region, touching on Russia’s increasing influence, ethnic tensions, and high unemployment. After his remarks, Senator Murphy was interviewed by Professor Hamilton and responded to questons from members of the audience.
