Vice President Joe Biden and other dignitaries gathered in Arlington National Cemetery’s Memorial Amphitheater for the annual ceremony honoring the nation’s veterans. The ceremony included music from the United States Marine Band, prayers, and the parade of colors. In his remarks, Vice President Biden called veterans “the most trusted among us,” and “the best that this country has had to offer” while Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald promised again to reform and improve the VA.

This portion of the ceremony followed a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. close
