The House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations held a hearing on energy security and development challenges in Africa. In the first panel, government officials from the Departments of State and Energy and USAID outlined energy development initiatives in Africa, focusing specifically on the Power Africa program.
