Sam Kean talked about his book The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons: The History of the Human Brain as Revealed by True Stories of Trauma, Madness, and Recovery. His previous book was The Disappearing Spoon: And Other True Tales of Madness, Love, and the History of the World from the Periodic Table of the Elements.

This interview was held at the 37th Annual National Press Club Book Fair and Authors' Night, a fundraiser held by the National Press Club Journalism Institute, in partnership with Politics & Prose, for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library and the SEED Foundation.
