100th Anniversary of New Republic
This event was filmed two days before Franklin Foer resigned from the New Republic as editor. He left the magazine because he and the CEO had differing plans for the future of the publication.
Franklin Foer talked about Insurrections of the Mind: 100 Years of Politics and Culture in America. The book was published for New Republic magazine’s centennial celebration and was edited by Mr. Foer. Jeffrey Rosen of the National Constitution Center spoke with Mr. Foer about the essays in the book and the magazine’s founding vision.
