Former U.S. Ambassadors James Jeffrey, who served in Iraq, and Robert Ford, who served in Syria, discussed the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing fight against the so-called Islamic State* militants in the region.

“The Middle East in Chaos” was part of the 2014 Foreign Policy Initiative Forum, “A World In Crisis: The Need for American Leadership,” which was held at the Newseum.
