In the weekly Republican address Representatives Cathy McMorris-Rogers (R-WA), Pete Sessions (R-TX), and Ander Crenshaw (R-FL) talked about the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act. The act would allow individuals with disabilities to set up a tax-free savings account for qualified expenses. This would allows individuals with disabilities a better chance to help themselves to be less dependent on government and more independent in their daily lives. Representative Crenshaw, sponsor of the bill, talked about the history of the bill which was passed by the House earlier in the week. Representatives McMorris-Rogers and Sessions talked about how it would help their disabled children. close
