Representative Ralph Hall (D-TX) talked about his enlistment in the Navy during World War II and his experiences as a pilot on aircraft carriers. Representative Hall was a lieutenant in the Naval Air Corps during World War II and flew F6F and F4U Corsair aircraft.

This oral history interview took place on February 18, 2003, at Tyler Junior College and is part of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project. Congress established the Veterans History Project in 2000 as part of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. The project collects oral histories from veterans around the country and makes them accessible to the public. close
